Introduction
Who Unfollowed Me on X (Twitter) is a Chrome browser extension that helps you track who followed or unfollowed you on X (formerly Twitter). It augments X profile pages with a daily chart and an on-page Unfollowers tab. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Data Collected
The extension accesses the following information:
- XBurst account credentials: When you sign in via the popup, an authentication token (JWT) and the email associated with your XBurst account are stored locally so you don't have to sign in on every page load.
- Your X (Twitter) followers: The extension reads the public list of accounts following you on X. Only public information already visible to you on X is processed.
- Follower history: Daily counts and the list of accounts who followed or unfollowed you are sent to and stored on the XBurst backend (
https://xburst.app), associated with your XBurst account, so you can see historical changes across devices and over time. - Local cache: The extension may cache fetched chart data in your browser (
chrome.storage.local) to speed up subsequent page loads. This cache contains only follower data already associated with your XBurst account.
Data Sharing
The extension does not sell, trade, or share your data with any third party. It communicates exclusively with the XBurst backend (https://xburst.app) to authenticate you and store your follower history. No analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels are used.
Your Control
You can sign out at any time from the extension popup, which removes your authentication token and email from local storage. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all locally stored data. To delete your follower history from the XBurst backend, please contact us.
